Co2 Welder

**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Perform MIG, TIG, FCAW, and Stick welding on various materials including sheet metal and pipe.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project specifications.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to fabricate components according to design requirements.
- Conduct inspections of completed welds to ensure compliance with ASME codes & standards.
- Operate cranes and forklifts safely for material handling during the welding process.
- Execute pipe threading, ductwork assembly, and rigging tasks as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while following all safety guidelines.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently within deadlines.

**Skills**
- Proven experience in construction site environments.
- Proficient in MIG welding, TIG welding, FCAW, and Stick welding techniques.
- Familiarity with using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools for precision work.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Experience in fabrication processes including machining and soldering.
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics effectively.
- Knowledge of power tools and their safe operation.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to welding tasks.
- Experience with press brake machines is a plus.

Pay: R50,00 - R70,00 per hour
