Receiving, capturing and distribution of all samples to ensure correct information is
obtained and recorded and to facilitate the speedy processing of samples in the terms of service objectives.
- Sorting and distribution of samples according to set standard operation procedures to ensure the correct and prioritized channeling of specimens to various laboratories.
- Answering incoming calls; taking messages and re-directing calls as required.
- Ensure correct billing information captured onto laboratory information system.
- Demographic check on all patient requests.
- Add on tests to original request.
- Disinfect work area and complete decontamination log.
- Storage of samples with the LIMS Prelink.
- Perform outstanding's for all samples.
- Ensure Department consumables are adequately stocked.
- Complete laboratory assistant data verification checks weekly.
- Perform shift duties as per roster.
- Client services.
- Ensure basic housekeeping in own working area, including suitable cleaning and preparation of equipment according to set standard operating procedures.
- Prepares and scans patient forms onto laboratory scanning system (Prelink) and resolves the scanning incompletes according to set standard operating procedures.
- Responsible for adhering to Neuberg Global uniform protocols as set standard operating procedures.
- **Requirements**
- Grade 12/ Matric
- Computer literate
- Data capturing background.
- 3 years experiences
- Laboratory information systems
- Ability to commute.
- Must have own reliable transport

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

- Amanzimtoti, KwaZulu-Natal: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
