Parts Specialist

**Purpose of the position**:
Developing and sustaining relationships with key suppliers and managing part queries. Making use of continuous improvement methodology to meet demands of motor claims related services by analyzing the economic environment and claims related data.

**Responsibilities**:

- Sourcing suppliers and maintaining long-lasting relationships (with new and existing suppliers)
- Implementing inventory optimization strategies within the company
- Obtaining quotes from different suppliers
- Negotiating price, quantity, and delivery schedules with suppliers
- Generating quote comparisons and contributing to internal supplier selection
- Providing solutions to improve company spending and outsourcing

**Requirements**:

- Matric (essential)
- Proven experience with sourcing processes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
- A thorough understanding of sourcing methodologies
