**Requirements**:
- Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
- Tertiary / Vocational training or apprenticeship in carpentry, cabinet making or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience as a Shop Fitter, Carpenter, or similar role.
- Strong carpentry and joinery skills, with the ability to work with a variety of materials.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience working in a retail environment is a plus.
- Valid driver's license and own tools are preferred.
**Responsibilities**:
- Collaborate with management and clients to plan and execute shop fit-out and tenant installation projects.
- Measure and cut materials, assemble fixtures, and install displays according to blueprints and specifications.
- Ensure that all fixtures and displays are securely installed and meet safety standards.
- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on existing shop fixtures and displays.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to procure materials and equipment needed for projects.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace and adhere to all health and safety regulations.
