**General Manager**
Management of the entire Hotel with total and ultimate accountability for the entire Hotel.
**Key Job Outcomes**
- Producing an annual business plan including financial budget, capital expenditure budget, sales & marketing plan and operational plan for the Hotel matched to the associated budget.
- Implements, monitors and improves the annual business plan when and where required.
- Able to provide client and market related intelligence to the Sales and Marketing function by ongoing market segmentation analysis, identifying business trends and maintaining key client relationships.
- Contributes to ensuring the budgeted YTD operating profit per budget is achieved by all Departments and for the Hotel overall.
- Takes responsibility for the Hotel’s financial and operational results and long-term sustainability.
- Assists in checking, analyzing and reporting on monthly management accounts.
- Monitoring and measuring staff productivity in order to control resource planning in alignment with revenue streams.
- Completing employee appraisals of all heads of department every quarter (Monthly if HOD is within their probation / period).
