**Requirements**:

- A relevant technical tertiary qualification preferably a

national diploma in Geomatics
- Advanced computer literacy and GIS/CAD skills
- 2 - 5 years’ relevant post qualifying experience
- Should be able to use drawing programmes
- Should be capable to conduct field work
- Must have a Personal vehicle
- Must be in possession of valid drivers’ license
- Must be prepared to enter high risk areas
- Must be available to be called upon in case of emergencies

Key Performance Areas
- Supervising and conducting technical investigations of

and adherence to legislative requirements
- Representing the branch at project meetings and liaises

with applicants, general public developers and Council
property
- Capturing and updating of property data in order to

provide property data management reports and facilitate
management decision making
- Assisting to provide function specific training and

general leadership within the technical section in order to
ensure optimal productivity and quality of outputs; ensure
continuity of the operations of the branch
- Implementing Section or Department communication

strategy in order to adhere to the accurate effective
communication process, ensure accurate dissemination of
information and to ensure adequate service delivery through
efficient workflow
- Provide general transport assistance for the region including

conveyancing, leasing and admin functions.
