Our client is one of Australia’s largest privately-owned forklift and access equipment companies. They offer industry leading and tailored materials handling and access solutions that meet the needs of businesses of all sizes.

They are looking for forklift mechanics with light or heavy forklift experience.

**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct routine maintenance and service on forklift machines.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
- Execute timely and efficient repairs to minimize downtime.
- Organize and manage parts inventory for scheduled services and repairs.
- Maintain accurate records of parts usage and orders
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding service and repair needs.
- Provide clear explanations of required repairs and associated costs.
- Offer expert advice on forklift maintenance and usage.
- Create and maintain detailed records of service and repair activities.
- Adhere to safety guidelines during service and repair activities.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in the same or similar position
- Trade qualified
- Maintaining a professional level of customer service with all customers and clients
- Strong background in a mechanical role
- Experience with service and repair to Forklifts is essential.
- This is an autonomous role and leadership is required along with time management skills.
- Valid passport & Driver’s licence.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: R935 000,00 - R1 200 000,00 per year
