Assessing the department's current AI maturity and identifying opportunities to leverage AI to improve business processes, decision-making, and outcomes.
Designing and implementing AI solutions, including developing machine learning models, automating workflows, and integrating AI into existing systems.
Providing training, coaching, and hands-on support to help our IT developers, functional consultants, business analysts, IT helpdesk and Testing team members effectively utilize AI capabilities. Department size is +- 70 people.
Collaborating cross-functionally to translate technical AI concepts into business value and get buy-in for AI initiatives.
Continuously monitoring the performance of AI solutions and making adjustments to optimize their effectiveness.
WHICH QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE DO WE NEED FOR THE ROLE?
BSc Statistics or Informatics, Computer Science
**ESSENTIAL SKILLS REQUIREMENTS**:
We are seeking an AI Consultant/Data scientist to drive the adoption and implementation of AI technologies across our department. In this role, you will be responsible for:

Designing and implementing AI solutions, including developing machine learning models, automating workflows, and integrating AI into existing systems.
Providing training, coaching, and hands-on support to help our IT developers, functional consultants, business analysts, IT helpdesk and Testing team members effectively utilize AI capabilities. Department size is +- 70 people.
Collaborating cross-functionally to translate technical AI concepts into business value and get buy-in for AI initiatives.
Continuously monitoring the performance of AI solutions and adjusting optimize their effectiveness.
Any additional responsibilities assigned in terms of the Agile Working Model (AWM) Charter.

Strong ability to understand and interpret business needs and requirements with an aptitude to move concepts through to proposal and successful implementation.

Willing and able to travel internationally (maximum twice a year for a week)
