- Roles and Responsibility- Sales Orders- Sales orders and customer specifications to be confirmed with sales representatives
- Sales order changes are to be made out upon request from sales representatives
- Sales specifications and changes are to be confirmed with Engineering and Production
- Notify OEM’s that the ordered bus is complete and inform quality control of collection/delivery date.
- Issue the sales order in SAP to request invoicing to customer
- Check with sales representatives if they have orders before creating sale order changes/deal file
- Brazil Unit Orders- Place orders for units with Brazil and China if necessary.
- Follow up on orders placed on a weekly basis to ensure order progress and to ensure that delivery dates

are met- Receive and confirm production checklists for units from Brazil and report areas in good

time to Brazil- Communicated changes to delivery dates to the relevant departments so that the production schedule is

up to date.
- Stock Units Control- Ensure sufficient stock units to meet dealer orders when possible.
- Control stock lists with each O.E.M every quarter
- (Check with Sales Execs that list is accurate)
- Control MASA Stock Portfolio monthly

Chassis Units Control- Follow -up on a regular basis with chassis O.E.M’s regarding required delivery dates to MASA
- Inform production of any changes to expected delivery dates
- On arrival ensure that the chassis is allocated to the correct customer as requested by the chassis supplier
- Contact chassis supplier when mechanical faults occur on the chassis in good time.
- Liaise with chassis supplier regarding engineering modification necessary to the chassis
- Attend sales meeting with chassis suppliers to keep abreast of deals between the companies.

Production Liaison- Production schedules are to be kept up to date with all relevant information and must be sent to all

relevant people on a regular basis.- Attend weekly meetings with production to ensure that schedule is adhered to and to communicate new

orders, modifications required and promised delivery dates.- Communicate changes to the expected delivery dates to the relevant departments so that the production

schedule is up to date.- Monitor and keep track of production on a daily basis to ensure that deadlines are achieved and problems

are resolved immediately.
- Customer and Dealer Relations- Develop strong relationships with OEM’s.
- Keep OEM’s updated and informed of production progress on orders.
- In absence of sales executives, assist visiting customers with factory tour and introduce them to various

models available.- Resolve customer queries or complaints promptly in a courteous, professional manner
- Liaise with dealers on a regular basis

General Administration Duties- Attend weekly commercial meetings to discuss new deals, production problems or other commercial

matters.- Keep track of sales achieved against monthly targets (as set by commercial manager) and inform

Commercial Manager of sales shortfalls.- Offer support and back-up to sales executives when participating at trade shows/launches/events and be

available to attend such functions.- Assist with marketing functions
- Arrange all movements of buses for stock storage and final delivery to customers
- Update and control invoicing list; forecasting, actual sales, deal in progress, etc.**Inherent Requirements**
- Grade 12- Project Management Qualification - Diploma or higher preferred
- Production planner experience- Inherent job requirements:
- English Language (written; spoken and comprehension)- Numeracy skills
- Computer Literacy (Microsoft Office), SAP, Excel
- Knowledge and understanding of basic sales principles
- Understand and adhere to company's code of conduct
