**purpose**:

- To strategically and operationally manage and grow a portfolio of highly complex public sector clients by managing the relationship, influencing of the financial strategy of the client, seeking and identifying business opportunities for the Bank as well as growing the portfolio through the acquisition of new clients.**experience and qualifications**:

- Minimum Qualification - Relevant Degree
- Preferred Qualification - Relevant Post Graduate
- Experience - 3 to 5 years experience with at least 2 to 3 years judgmental credit and relationship management experience
- Additional Knowledge - Product knowledge experience
- Person must not be an unrehabilitated insolvent**additional requirements**:

- Strong sales and client service experience
- Ability to bring in new business and increase acquisition
- Strong credit experience and negotiation skills
- Build and maintain stakeholder relationships
- Strong collaboration skills
- Must have RE5 and recognized qualification by Financial Sector Conduct Authority

**responsibilities**:

- Focus on providing optimal services and improving service delivery processes to meet or exceed customer expectations
- Compile reports that track progress and guide business to make informed decisions
- Ensure compliance to legislative and audit requirements and adherence to relevant processes
- Identify and implement on opportunities for revenue growth in order to deliver on sales targets
- Prevent wastage and identify process improvements to contain and reduce costs
- Build working relationships across teams and functional lines to enhance work delivery, collaboration and innovation
- Manage people by executing management responsibilities, and create an environment that encourages employee growth and performance excellence
- Initiate, prepare and present credit proposals to the relevant credit committee to secure credit facilities for clients within the credit policy
- Negotiate and provide appropriate solutions through deal structuring for highly complex clients
- Manage existing portfolio and acquire new client accounts to drive business growth and sales
- Define a sales and portfolio strategy in order to provide appropriate banking solutions and achieve relevant sales targets
