Our client manages, develops and rents out properties all over Cape Town. The business focuses on residential, commercial and industrial as well as retail spaces. Your role will be to act as custodian of digital and print company marketing, events and social media platforms. Driving out to sites to take photos, creating meaningful content for newsletters & videos, planning & executing seasonal events at their malls whilst managing the influencer network and communicating with social media followers will all form part of your wide portfolio. In summary, your duties can be described as:

Marketing for rental of all available units.
- General company marketing (digital and print)
- Company Branding.
- Administrative duties.
- Developing social media content plans that are consistent with the company’s brand identity.
- Creating consistent, meaningful content on all social media platforms, including writing and editing social media posts, improving customer engagement, and promoting social media campaigns.
- Managing daily social media posts and responses.
- Create marketing videos and marketing brochures.
- Loading and listing all properties.
- Creating bi monthly newsletter.
Developing and managing social influencer programs and attending social influencer events.
- Using analytical tools such as Google Analytics, Hootsuite Pro, and Facebook Insights to monitor and evaluate the company’s social media presence and performance.
- Suggesting recommendations to adjust the social media marketing strategy for optimal results.
- Involves shopping centre marketing and activation.
- Design eye is needed.
- Staying up to date on best practices and emerging trends in social media.

This would only suit someone with a proven eye for detail, who has copy writing skills and is up to date with software products like Canva, HTML / CSS / Java / Wordpress. Most importantly, you will be someone who is willing to do whatever it takes to make sure the company and it’s properties are displayed in the best possible light to the widest possible audience. You will be a team player who is self-driven and who sees the ‘big picture’ in all your endeavours. We appreciate creativity and look forward to energy being brought to the role.
