**Tactical Sourcing Lead (Financial Services)**

**Location: Pretoria, Gauteng / Hybrid**

**Position Overview**:
A **highly** **reputable** **financial** **services** **group** has an exciting newly created opportunity for a **Tactical Sourcing Lead **in the **_Group’s Financial Services Department_**.**

The main purpose of this position is to **provide first-line supervision of the tactical buying function**, **ensuring** **the validity, timeliness, and accuracy of transactions**.

**Key Performance Areas**:

- **_Implement tactical category strategy_**_ based on spend and demand analysis. _
- **_Supervise the tactical buying activities_**_ in accordance with the procurement policy as well as general administrative processes. _
- **_Review and authorise request for tenders/proposals/quotations/information (RFXs),_**_ _**_recommendations_**_ _**_for supplier award_**_ and _**_purchase orders_**_ within the delegation of authority. _
- **_Manage cycle times _**_for all buying-related activities. _
- **_Collate and analyse spend data for the tactical buying sectio_**:

- _Plan work for self and others in the team. _
- **_Ensure adherence to controls._**:

- **_Manage relationships_**_ and lead and participate in internal and external stakeholder engagements. _
- **_Diagnose problems_**_ and display the ability to provide solutions for problems. _
- **_Continuously improve systems, processes, and procedures_**_. _
- _Manage the _**_performance and development of team members_**_._
- **_Collaborate with other procurement sections_**_ to ensure _**_operational alignment_**_, continuously _**_review the_**_ _**_Loan Scheme processes_**_ throughout the _**_scheme’s life cycle_**_ and drive the _**_end-to-end implementation_**_._

**Minimum requirements to be considered for this position, one must have**:

- A **completed Bachelor’s degree (NQF 7)** in **Commerce or Supply Chain Management.**:

- A **minimum of 5 to 8 years’ tactical sourcing experience.**:

- A minimum of **2 to 3 years Team Leadership and Supervisory** experience.
- Excellent knowledge and skill in**:Procurement Markets, Quality Assurance, Strategic and Tactical Sourcing, Tendering**, **Contract Management**, and **Procurement Reporting Processes and Metrics**.
