Maintenance Handyman

We are currently looking for a young skilled person who would fufill the following tasks:

- 1 - 2 years’ experience in a similar position

Painting, electrical, plumbing, general maintenance skills.
- Check the maintenance book and action any repairs that need to be done.
- Action repairs in the rooms, eg locks, keys, plumbing, electrical, cracked walls, tiles, light bulbs, painting, varnishing.
- Do all tasks required to keep the rest of the property to a four star standard. Maintain the overall condition of the building and grounds.
- Assist with major repairs when requested to do so, eg, painting, tiling, building.
- Assist with installation and repair of electric wiring, network and camera cabling as required.
- Report problems or breakages to operating equipment to maintenance manager.
- Move furniture and equipment upon instruction.
- Replace bulbs where required.
- Any other tasks that management may reasonably request you to do from time to time.

Adhere to the hotel team member handbook, all company policies and SOP’s as required.

**Salary**: R4,000.00 - R8,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Durbanville, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Maintenance as per job description: 2 years (preferred)

License/Certification:

- Drivers License (preferred)
