One of the leading distributors of Information and Communications Technology is looking for for an consumer and retail experienced and vision-driven KAM to assist in retaining top customers as well as nurture key relationships. To manage strategic partners and discover new business opportunities.
description
- Has a solid understanding of the consumer market and competitors, monitors business trends, nurtures strategic partnerships with key customers and partners;
- Implement distribution strategy and complex business and sales development, demand, and sell-out generation within assigned partners.
- Sales planning by accounts, brands, categories, SKUs.
- Everyday communication and regular negotiations with partners, orders processing, new products listing, promo actions agreements, and implementation.
- Product merchandising and visibility both offline and online,
- Promoters coordination.
- CRM / PSI reporting.
- Conducting assortment, pricing, listing, distribution and other types of market research.
- Implementation and regular control of listing plan for assigned partners.
- Partners in time payments collection, DSO responsibility for trusted partners.
- Any other tasks related to business development on the market.
- Per the product delivery process, ensure the establishment of timely and accurate sales and marketing deliverables and documentation
- Ensures the timely flow of business documents between the customer and the client documentation of critical positions and agreements; documented agreements to meet finance guidelines and requirements
- Assists in the development and negotiation of program pricing and respond to internal, corporate, and customer pricing requests
- Manages the PSI CPFR (maintaining an up-to-date catalogue of partners in CRM; regular data download and reporting; implementation of sales and planning of purchases based on data)
experience, qualifications and skills
- 5+ years’ experience in a similar role with a proven track record of success, preferably within the IT Consumer field (distribution, system integrators, vendors)
- Existing relationships in the South African consumer/retail environment
- Experience in the SADC markets would be beneficial
