Supports the marketing team by coordinating projects and implementing them. Deals directly with the Marketing Director, Head of Digital Marketing, Hotel General Managers and external agencies for brand, PR (Public Relations) and digital. Will work on a national brand in the exciting world of hospitality.
- **Key Performance Areas**:

- Plans, Controls and Manages The Capital’s social media platforms.
- Creates all content (using own phone), plans and schedules posts, community management (3 hour turnaround), administration of influencer programme and all social competitions and/or partner activations.
- Content creation & curation for LinkedIn, Tik Tok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube shorts and creating a library for social media
- Run all paid social media campaigns, and ensure campaign delivery against revenue goals and Key Performance Indicators.
- Daily monitoring of campaigns, ensures all correct revenues and media costs are reported monthly.
- Analysing the company’s social media strategy and making recommendations for improvements.
- Researching social media trends and informing management of changes that are relevant to the company’s activities
- Evaluating and responding to collaboration requests
- Supporting PR efforts: coordinating review stays between GM’s and PR agency
- Marketing Admin: generating PO’s; recording digital spend, reconciliations, follow ups with Finance team to co-ordinate payment
- **Requirements**:
- Matric with relevant marketing qualifications, along with the 6+ desired years of experience in social media marketing, digital or social media environments
- Minimum 3 years of managing Paid social media campaigns essential
- Experience in managing digital campaigns with performance driven goals
- Experienced super-user of key social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok, LinkedIN)
- Must know how to work with budgets and how to allocate them effectively
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Databases)
- Attention to detail is essential
- Administrative duties
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Excellent command of the English language (will be required to write copy and proof read)
- Ability to work in fast-paced deadline driven environment
- **Requires own reliable transport** to be able to go to the hotels to create content
- **Requires use of an up to date smart phone**
- This role requires Community management which **happens outside of normal working hours** to respond to urgent posts, reshare time sensitive content and therefore includes weekends, working off-site.
- Based in Sandton - but local travel may be required from time to time.
