A FinTech solutions group providing financial B2B and B2C services across Southern Africa, is looking for an Enterprise Architect, who will combine many different skills and experiences to address and solve business, information, and technology-related opportunities and problems.

**DUTIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO**:

- Architectural Design and Implementation:

- Develop and maintain the overall architectural vision and strategy for our fintech solutions
- Design scalable, secure, and high-performance architectures.
- Create detailed architectural diagrams and process flows to support solution design and implementation
- API Design and Integration:

- Lead the design and development of APIs to ensure seamless integration with various value-added services
- Define API standards and best practices for internal and external integrations
- Technical Leadership:

- Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams, ensuring adherence to architectural standards and best practices
- Define and enforce development standards, frameworks, and guidelines
- Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC):

- Advise on and define the SDLC processes, ensuring they are well-documented and followed consistently
- Implement and oversee automated testing frameworks to ensure high-quality software delivery
- Innovation and Improvement:

- Continuously evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation and improvement within our solutions
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence within the team
- Stakeholder Collaboration:

- Work closely with product management, operations, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment between business goals and technical solutions
- Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner

**REQUIREMENTS**
- **T**echnical Expertise:

- Proven experience as an Enterprise Architect or similar role in the fintech space
- In-depth knowledge of card payment switching mechanisms and value-added service market
- Strong experience in API design and integration, with a focus on security and scalability
- Proficiency in creating architectural diagrams and process flows using tools such as UML, Visio, or similar
- Development and Testing:

- Solid understanding of software development principles, including object-oriented programming, design patterns, and best practices
- Experience with automated testing frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit)
- Knowledge of development standards and frameworks, such as TOGAF, Zachman, or similar
- SDLC Management:

- Demonstrated ability to define and manage the SDLC, including requirement gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices
- Soft Skills:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a strategic mindset
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
