**Job Advert Summary**:
The Handyman is responsible for general upkeep, repair duties, and ensuring that all facilities and equipment are maintained in good working order. This includes attending to maintenance requests, performing preventative maintenance, and supporting tradespeople with electrical, plumbing, and HVAC repairs.
This is a **fixed-term position**, and the incumbent is expected to perform duties diligently, ensuring safety, quality, and guest satisfaction at all times

**Minimum Requirements**:

- Clear and effective communication skills (written and verbal).
- Excellent attention to detail with strong problem-solving ability.
- High physical stamina and manual dexterity.
- Technical proficiency with basic electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
- Reliable, responsible, and trustworthy work ethic.
- Presentable, well-spoken, and professional demeanor.
- Strong customer service orientation with a guest-centric approach.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as operationally required.
- Competency in basic carpentry and painting tasks

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Respond promptly to breakdowns of plant, machinery, and equipment to minimize downtime.
- Maintain cleanliness of facilities by sweeping, dusting, and performing general housekeeping.
- Conduct routine maintenance and light repairs, including lighting, fittings, and fixtures.
- Paint and fill gaps or cracks on walls, pavements, or other surfaces as needed.
- Undertake basic installations or carpentry tasks, such as building or repairing cabinets.
- Assist with repairs to equipment or appliances as required.
- Support tradespeople with electrical, plumbing, and HVAC maintenance tasks.
- Identify, report, and attend to areas needing maintenance or painting.
- Maintain accurate safety and maintenance records in accordance with company requirements.
- Conduct regular checks on water pressure and related equipment.
- Ensure emergency and safety equipment is fully operational at all times.
- Complete maintenance logs and other required documentation.
- Keep work areas clean, orderly, and free of hazards.
- Perform any other ad hoc duties as required by management.
