Key Responsibilities - Prepare, examine, and analyse financial statements, management reports, and supporting schedules. - Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, IFRS and regulatory requirements. - Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes. - Reconcile accounts, monitor general ledger entries, and resolve discrepancies. - Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations. - Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and fixed asset accounting processes. - Assisting with Treasury functions, foreign exposures to minimise forex risk. - Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. - Ensure timely submission of tax filings and regulatory reports. - Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets. - Provide financial insights and recommendations to management for strategic decision-making. Qualifications & Skills - Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field - Proven experience as a Financial Accountant with 7 years or more - Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations. - Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics BC 365, Sage Accounting, or similar) and advanced MS Excel skills. - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. - Strong attention to detail and accuracy. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
