Warehouse Manager

I am looking for a warehouse manager of a satellite warehouse for my client. The salary for this position is R10 000 per month. Please do not apply if you are earning more than this.

The position comes with the following responsibilities:

Warehouse Management & Administration

- Responsible for the overall performance of the warehouse.
- Ensure stock accuracy at all times by:

- Conducting stock counts according to the provided schedule.

- Oversight to ensure correct warehouse processes are being followed.

- Ensure accurate warehouse space planning (planogram).
- Ensure Materials Handling Equipment is serviced and in good working order. Fuel is available where required.

Health & Safety

- Ensure the warehouse is compliant with all health & safety standards.
- Conduct weekly/monthly/ad hoc inspections timeously.
- Maintain and ensure the Health & Safety file as well as the electronic Mango System are up to date at all times.

Warehouse Cost Control

- Ensure that all warehouse costs are constantly monitored and controlled.
- Ensure the warehouse is clean and clear of debris at all times.
- Arrange waste disposal and execute skit swop outs in line with prearranged costs.
- Ensure racking is correctly labelled.
- Ensure all equipment is in good working order.

Staff Management

- Provide warehouse support to Field Service Teams.
- Train staff if required.
- Manage staff performance and conduct reviews if required.
