Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and results-driven Telesales Expert who can effectively promote our services, generate quality appointments, and build strong relationships with clients. About the Role

As a Telesales Expert, you will be responsible for:

  • Promoting and explaining our services to prospective clients, identifying their needs, and addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
  • Obtaining fixed, quality, industry-related appointments for our Account Executives, meeting the targets set by the Sales Director.
  • Attending weekly sales meetings at the designated time and venue, as well as other meetings as required, to stay informed and aligned with the team's goals.
  • Completing daily activity reports to be submitted to the Head of Department, providing valuable insights into your performance and progress.
  • Capturing appointments on our sales tracking system as they are confirmed and updating the whiteboard immediately to ensure seamless handovers between team members.
Key Performance Areas & Responsibilities

In addition to the above responsibilities, you will also be expected to:

  • Evaluate each appointment to ensure it is a viable business prospect, aligning with our company's objectives.
  • Maintain accurate contact details for clients, including addresses, telephone numbers, and other relevant information.
  • Ensure that appointments are allocated geographically and equally between Account Executives, promoting fair distribution of leads.
  • Follow up on all leads handed over by Account Executives, conducting thorough canvassing to maximize conversion rates.
  • Adhere to any additional reasonable activities requested by the Sales Director and Head of Department, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in a telesales or call center environment, with a proven track record of success.
  • Residency in RANDBURG or SURROUNDS.
  • Fully computer literate, with proficiency in software applications relevant to the role.

  • Excellent telesales skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and persuasively.
  • Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills, ensuring successful outcomes in challenging situations.
  • Experience with cold calling, lead generation, and appointment setting techniques.
  • Knowledge of call center software and systems, with the ability to quickly adapt to new technologies.
  • Desirable: 2-5 years' experience in a similar role, with a proven history of achieving sales targets and exceeding expectations.
Compensation Package

We offer a competitive compensation package, including:

  • An estimated salary range of R150,000 - R200,000 per annum, based on experience and performance.
