IT Infrastructure Manager with a Strategic Vision

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled IT Infrastructure Manager to drive our technological initiatives forward. This dynamic individual will oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of our BPO operations' technological infrastructure.

Your role is multifaceted, encompassing strategic planning, resource management, technical expertise, and leadership. You will collaborate closely with various stakeholders, including senior management, IT teams, and business units, to align technology initiatives with organizational goals and objectives.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing a strategy to support operations through technology optimization within a BPO environment
  • Communicating with key stakeholders regarding technology solutions to ensure synergy with the overall strategic direction of the business
  • Ensuring effective and efficient operation to achieve strategy
  • Managing day-to-day IT support across multiple locations, as well as managing external vendors, support agreements, SLAs, outages, upgrades/downgrades for both IT and Infrastructure
  • Managing IT Service desk tickets, effectiveness, escalations, and ensuring the team is actively engaged in resolving IT support requests, incidents, and changes
  • Staying up-to-date with new technologies and implementing those that improve end-user and customer experience
  • Handling technology migrations
  • Effectively utilizing tools for monitoring and troubleshooting IT systems
  • Managing Omni-channel platforms with SMS, Email, WhatsApp, webchat, chatbots, social media interactions, case management
  • Supporting new business initiatives through expert advice on project capacitation and setup
  • Developing, driving, and delivering on all infrastructure plans
  • Overseeing and implementing project setups
  • Ensuring infrastructure can meet SLA requirements
  • Making recommendations on maintaining/improving BPO centre technologies
  • Proactively improving systems, processes, services, communication, and performance of the IT Support Services function
  • Enforcing multiple restoration duties (e.g., Windows operating system, operational data, files, programs, and applications)
  • Assessing software and hardware suitability and providing reports to key stakeholders
  • Implementing a DRP solution and ensuring updates are tested accordingly
  • Managing interface with the company's external IT outsourced provider for effective support of operations
  • Providing 24/7 technical assistance for seamless operation
  • Meeting deadlines on all project requirements contributing to business objectives
  • Managing relationships with relevant stakeholders
  • Ensuring server stability, firewalls, connectivity, and security
  • BUILDING a solid networking strategy for LAN and WAN as per SLA with BPO Management
  • Improving telephone system functionality (VOIP)
  • Managing IT infrastructure support and facilities resources, ensuring responsive helpdesk and support solutions
  • Responsible for Hardware and Software upgrades
  • Ensuring Business Continuity plan is in place
  • Ownership of Disaster Recovery plan and protocols
  • Overseeing facilities maintenance operations
  • Ensuring contractors deliver work meeting timeframes and quality requirements, addressing under-performance issues
  • Overseeing technical maintenance for installations (Generators/UPS/AC/heating/electrical installations etc.)
  • Establishing service level agreements for contractors and ensuring compliance
  • Preventing failure of building fabric and infrastructure
  • Space evaluation and planning, updating floor plans for projects
  • Project management of builds liaising with operations, clients, and landlord
  • Communication, documentation, and project management of group initiatives
  • Disaster Recovery setup, documentation, planning, and testing
  • Improving systems and services across the group (ERP, CRM, networking, telephones)
  • Formulating and documenting policies and procedures where required
  • Managing IT and Infrastructure Budgets

This position requires:

  • 5+ years of IT Management experience in the BPO sector
  • Experience working with MS Office 365, Ms Teams, Active Directory, group policies, DHCP, DNS, configuring VLANs on Cisco and HP switches, Microsoft Servers, SQL Server, SAP, VIP, etc.
  • CISM (Certified Information Security Management course) a strong preference
  • MCSE, CCNA, NSE from Fortinet
  • Experience with Firewalls (Fortinet's FortiGate as preference)
  • Ability to Manage a Team
  • Project Management course a strong preference

Earn an estimated salary of $95,000 - $120,000 annually, depending on qualifications and experience.
