As a Senior Business Development Manager at RateHawk, you will play a pivotal role in driving our sales efforts and expanding our client base in South Africa.

Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to achieve growth and expand our presence in the region.

Your primary focus will be on signing up new partners, including tour operators, travel agencies, and online travel agencies, and providing them with extended training on our system. You will also be responsible for building strong, long-lasting relationships with our partners and managing accounts until the first purchase is made.

In addition, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and executing commercial deals with partners, including the execution of required document flow and technical setup;
  • Managing compliance control with commercial conditions by partners, including payment flow;
  • Participating in trade shows, partner events, webinars, and other business-related events;
  • Providing market and competitive environment analysis;
  • Initiating API deals with potential and existing partners.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 3 years of experience in sales management or business development in the B2B travel industry;
  • An in-depth understanding of the region's travel market, including B2B travel networks;
  • Fluency in English, with additional languages a plus;
  • A willingness to spend at least 50% of working time on business trips;
  • An analytical mindset, with experience in data-driven decision-making;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
  • The ability to work across a wide range of cultural contexts, reflecting our global presence.
