Pro Select Consulting is seeking a seasoned Assistant Store Manager to drive sales growth and enhance customer experience in the Cavendish area.
About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and strategic retail professional with at least 3 years of experience in an Assistant Store Management position. As our ideal candidate, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day store operations, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing effective solutions to exceed sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Talent Development: Identify training and coaching needs within the store team, focusing on talent management and succession planning.
- Recruitment and Performance Management: Assist in recruiting, administering, and managing employee performance in line with company policies and procedures.
- Customer Experience: Implement processes to ensure adherence to customer experience standards, including business instruction letters, markdowns, repricing, promotions, visual standards, customer feedback, and general housekeeping.
- Compliance: Conduct thorough compliance checks through defined processes to maintain overall compliance.
- Sales Growth: Explore and propose new opportunities to boost sales and enhance brand awareness.
- Inventory Management: Provide feedback on in-store product performance to the support centre, contributing to sales improvement.
- Operational Planning: Collaborate with management on operational action plans, sales performance increase, and store expenditure monitoring based on sales and profitability reports.
- Stock Management: Authorize write-offs, breakages, recalls, and returns, ensuring effective stock management.
- Store Maintenance: Maintain the stockroom's overall upkeep to meet housekeeping standards.
- Supply Chain Management: Manage stock levels through defined processes to mitigate risks and ensure adequate stock on hand.
- Merchandising: Accurately receive, unpack, merchandise, and replenish the sales floor to drive sales objectives.
- Leadership: Assist in leading and driving the store team to achieve store KPIs and operational strategy, aligning with company values.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in an Assistant Store Management role.
- Clear credit and criminal record.
Compensation: The estimated salary for this position is around $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on location and experience. Please note that this figure is only an estimate and may vary based on individual circumstances.
