CFAO seeks a highly skilled Supply Chain Operations Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse facilities.

Job Summary

This is a dynamic role that requires strong organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a similar role, with a background in supply chain operations, logistics, or a related field.

About the Role

As a Supply Chain Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Assisting in the physical verification of stock and ensuring adherence to FIFO (First In, First Out) control procedures.
  • Confirming transfer orders in SAP to ensure accurate clearing of bins and alignment with SAP delivery notes.
  • Validating sales orders, purchase orders (POs), Bill of Entry (BOE), and packing requirements with Sales and Customers to ensure all specifications are met.
  • Organizing and maintaining a filing system for all daily delivery notes, ensuring they are accurately filed against the respective customer bins.
  • Processing product returns within 48 hours in SAP and communicating any issues or updates to the Team Leader and GAP (Goods Allocation Process).
  • Ensuring that bins 923 and 200 are cleared at the end of each shift to maintain efficient operations.
  • Executing transaction VL060 to generate a daily list of outbound delivery documents, ensuring all special delivery instructions and addresses are followed.
  • Helping prepare for stock takes and actively participating in regular stock counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Overseeing and ensuring that daily housekeeping is performed according to 5S principles by all team members to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must possess:

  • A minimum of Matric / Grade 12 qualification.
  • A Higher Certificate in Supply Chain, Logistics, Warehouse Operations, or a related field.
  • Relevant diploma in Logistics / Supply Chain / Operations.
  • Basic Computer Skills, MS Office, and SAP.
  • 2-3 years of related experience.
  • Forklift/Reach Truck Operator License (an advantage).
