Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Nursing Team Lead to join our team at Time Personnel.

Overview:

As a Nursing Team Lead, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating the day-to-day activities of the nursing and caring team. You will provide guidance, advice, and information to the team while taking responsibility for residents' care in your absence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and co-ordinate the day-to-day activities of the nursing and caring team
  • Provide guidance, advice, and information to the team
  • Take responsibility for residents' care as designated by the Sister/Senior Nurse
  • Report any ill health amongst residents and request medical visits where necessary
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care
  • Administer prescribed medicines and maintain records in line with company policies
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure each resident receives individualized care
  • Monitor and update Resident Care Plans on an ongoing basis
  • Develop and maintain data collection for audit effectiveness

Requirements:

  • A valid SANC qualification/certificate
  • 5 years post-qualification experience working in hospitals or aged care facilities
  • Experience overseeing a healthcare team
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
  • Ability to manage pressure and conflicting demands
  • Good compassion and professional relationship building with residents
  • Genuine interest in working with residents living with Dementia, Alzheimers, and Parkinsons Disease

Benefits:

Salary dependent on experience (£45,000 - £55,000 per annum)
