Job Title: Medical Operations Director

Join the Faircape Group as a Medical Operations Director and take on a challenging role in healthcare management.

Estimated Salary: R700,000 - R900,000 per annum.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead the day-to-day operations of our medical practice.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing patient files, coordinating medical officer shifts, overseeing billing and coding, and collaborating with the administrative team to ensure seamless operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the overall operations of the medical practice, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of services.
  • Coordinate medical officer rotations, on-call hours, and time-off requests, considering doctors' preferences, contract requirements, workload, and specialty needs.
  • Oversee patient billing and coding, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with the administrative team to gather accurate billing information and troubleshoot claim declines or billing inquiries.
  • Address patient inquiries, feedback, and complaints in a professional and timely manner.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in administration or a related field would be advantageous.
  • Proven experience in a healthcare management role, preferably within a medical practice.
  • Proficiency in healthcare management software and electronic medical records systems.
