Automotive Sales and Business Development Executive – Debt Recovery

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Automotive Sales and Business Development Executive – Debt Recovery to join our team at Mototeam (Pty) Ltd. This is a challenging opportunity for a results-driven professional to take on a key role in driving business growth and debt recovery in the automotive sector.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead Generation & Prospecting: Identify and develop relationships with key decision-makers in Dealerships, Workshops, Panel Shops, and corporate businesses.
* Client Relationship Management: Foster and maintain strong professional relationships with existing clients to secure repeat business and referrals.
* Business Proposals: Create compelling business proposals, presentations, and pitches to attract new clients and partnerships.
* Market Research: Analyse market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments to identify new business opportunities.
* Sales Strategy: Develop and implement strategic plans to meet or exceed sales targets and revenue goals.
* Contract Negotiation: Handle negotiations with clients to secure business deals, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
* Networking: Attend industry events, meetings, and networking functions to represent the business and build a strong network.
* Reporting: Prepare regular reports on sales activities, new leads, client feedback, and market trends for senior management review.
* After-Sales Support: Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth service delivery and client satisfaction.
Requirements:
* Matric (Grade 12)
* Experience: 3+ years of business development, sales, or key account management experience, preferably in the automotive or insurance sectors.
* Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of automotive repairs, insurance claims processes, and related industries.
* Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present confidently to senior-level executives.
* Negotiation Skills: Proven track record in negotiating contracts and closing deals.
* Sales Skills: Ability to meet and exceed sales targets through strategic planning and relationship management.
* Problem-Solving Skills: Proactive, with a strong ability to identify and solve problems quickly.
* Networking Abilities: Established connections within insurance companies and financial institutions is a plus.
* Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously with attention to detail.
* Tech Savvy: Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other sales-related tools.
* Self-Motivated and goal-driven.
* Ability to build rapport quickly.
* Able to handle a dynamic and changing business environment.
* Resilient with a positive can-do attitude.
* PC Literate with MS Office Suite experience.
* Drivers license and own transport essential.
