Product Lead: Machine Learning

We are seeking a seasoned Product Lead: Machine Learning to spearhead our AI initiatives and drive innovation across our product portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create and execute the Machine Learning roadmap for key AI focus areas, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business goals.
  • Collaborate with a team of machine learning engineers to develop projects that meet projected timelines and quality standards.
  • Promote adoption and integration of machine learning project outputs within internal software engineering teams.
  • Own and facilitate agile events like Sprint Grooming and Sprint Planning to prioritize projects effectively.
  • Contribute to technical design decisions and ensure consistency of design patterns across products.
  • Balance long-term product vision with short-term wins, ensuring accountability for each project's delivery.
  • Identify and consult relevant stakeholders for specific verticals/roadmaps.
  • Work closely with business units to identify opportunities for meaningful business results through machine learning solutions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize projects for inclusion in the roadmap.
  • Determine data needed to inform decision-making around product requirements.
  • Gather and use quantitative and qualitative data to formulate product requirements.
  • Suggest ideas to solve stakeholder challenges and validate them with metrics.
  • Define and report success metrics for each project against business goals.
Requirements:
  • A broad range of skills and experiences is required for this diverse portfolio.
  • The ability to distill technical subjects to fundamental concepts is essential for effective communication between stakeholders and software development teams.
  • Strong commercial acumen is necessary for understanding factors driving business success in a fast-paced e-commerce environment.
  • Comfortable with data deep-diving individually and collaboratively to generate product-level insights.
  • Proactive in exploring problem spaces and surroundings in support of product vision and roadmap.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to reduce uncertainty and set actionable deliverables.
  • Drive to actively unlearn and relearn mental models based on supporting data.

Salary Range: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
