Skilled Tradesperson

We are seeking an experienced Artisan to join our team in Pinetown, Natal. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on equipment and machinery, as well as conducting preventive maintenance tasks.

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and machinery in accordance with safety regulations
• Inspect, diagnose, and troubleshoot technical issues
• Fabricate, weld, and assemble components as needed
• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance activities to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance

To be considered for this role, you must possess a relevant trade qualification as an Artisan and a valid driver's licence. Additionally, you should have a strong mechanical aptitude and be proficient in welding, fabrication, and assembly techniques.

While not mandatory, additional certifications in relevant areas and experience working with waste management or medical equipment would be advantageous.

The successful candidate will be exposed to various environmental conditions and may require working in tight spaces or at heights. Occasional weekend or overtime work may be necessary.
