We are seeking an experienced Cattle Farming Specialist to join our team at Dante Personnel in Mpumalanga. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing cattle, maintaining facility cleanliness and safety, monitoring pasture conditions, supervising farm workers, and implementing farm policies.

About the Role

This is a rewarding opportunity for a skilled individual with a strong background in agriculture and animal science. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in cattle farming or a related field, as well as excellent organizational and leadership skills.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the overall management of cattle, including feeding, health monitoring, and breeding
  • Maintain and ensure the cleanliness and safety of livestock facilities
  • Monitor and manage pasture conditions and grazing plans
  • Supervise farm workers and ensure tasks are completed efficiently
  • Implement and adhere to farm policies and procedures
  • Maintain accurate records of livestock, feed, and supplies
Requirements
  • A tertiary qualification in Agriculture, Animal Science, or a related field
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in cattle farming or a related field
  • Valid drivers license
Compensation Package

The estimated salary for this position is R250,000 per annum, commensurate with experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical aid, retirement fund, and annual leave.
