Job Title: Lead Residential Property Finance Strategist

A highly influential role at Absa Group Limited, the National Head of Commercial Property Finance: Residential is responsible for leading the existing CPF Residential Product across South Africa.

About the Role
  • Provide strategic direction and coverage to build the offering across Corporate, Commercial, and Enterprise segments.
  • Establish a sustainable and profitable business across residential sub-sectors including Affordable Housing, Social Housing, Student Accommodation, Multifamily Investment, Affordable retirement, and Residential Corporates.
About You
  • You will have 15+ years of experience in CPF within a Corporate/Investment Bank, having managed large teams and demonstrated an ability to navigate complex organizational settings.
  • Strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders are essential, as you will be driving and monitoring market share, customer retention, growth, satisfaction, and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
  • Product and Service Delivery:
    • Develop and implement the CPF Residential Strategy through enhanced value proposition, service delivery, and client experience.
    • Drive market share, customer retention, growth, satisfaction, and profitability.
  • Thought Leadership:
    • Communicate the CPF Residential Strategy to the leadership team and ensure in-depth understanding across the business.
  • Business Management:
    • Instil a best-in-class approach to product knowledge, ESG, sales research, customer relationship development, and solutions to meet customers' needs.
    • Manage the delivery of the proposition across teams, focusing on CPF Residential.
  • Risk and Control:
    • Ensure all activities and duties are carried out in compliance with regulatory requirements, Enterprise Wide Risk Management Framework, and internal Policies and Policy Standards.
What We Offer
