Research Scientist

Explore a career opportunity at AHRI, as we seek a highly skilled Research Assistant to contribute to our exciting new NIH funded study on immune development in children. The study aims to investigate how male and female immune systems develop during the first 1000 days of life using sex discordant twin pairs.

We are looking for an individual with a strong background in biology or immunology to assist with receiving, recording, and processing longitudinal samples from twin pairs. The successful candidate will also help set up and run diverse assays, including high dimensional flow cytometry, in vitro simulations, multiplex cytokine profile, and single cell sequencing.

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

• An Honours or degree in biology, immunology, or equivalent related field.
• At least 2 years of research laboratory experience, preferably with samples processing experience.
• Research experience in immunology techniques, particularly flow cytometry.
• A high level of computer literacy.
