Millwright Technician

Hire Resolve is seeking a skilled Millwright to fill a key role in their manufacturing team. As a Millwright, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and installation of complex machinery and equipment. You will work closely with other professionals to ensure the efficient operation of the manufacturing processes.

• Perform regular maintenance on machinery and equipment to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues to identify root causes and implement effective solutions
• Repair or replace defective parts as needed to maintain equipment reliability and efficiency
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards to protect yourself and others
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize production efficiency and improve overall manufacturing processes

Requirements

• Trade-tested Millwright or Red seal certification would be advantageous
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role with a strong track record of success
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, including design, installation, and maintenance
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics to understand complex systems and equipment
• Excellent problem-solving skills to identify and resolve complex issues
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with others
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve common goals
• Flexibility to work on rotating shifts if required to meet business needs
