As a SLIMS Administrator at SGS, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Laboratory Information Management System. Your primary responsibility will be to perform daily administrative duties, including collecting and recording analytical results, creating job sheets, and validating jobs on SLIMS.
Key Responsibilities- Collect and record analytical results on prescribed report sheets and maintain accurate records.
- Create job sheets on SLIMS and validate jobs for technical signatories.
- Adhere to all quality and safety requirements of the SGS management system.
- Perform other reasonable tasks assigned by direct line manager.
- Minimum of 3 years of administrative experience.
- Grade 12 with Mathematics and Science.
- Computer literate with Microsoft Office skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Integrity, attention to detail, and punctuality.
- Knowledge of Laboratory Quality Management System and ability to work well under pressure.
- Laboratory background.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing priorities.
- Knowledge of entering data on SLIMS.
- Fluency in English language.
