Job Description:

The Legends Agency is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Chief Human Resources Strategist to lead our HR function globally. This key role will play a pivotal part in managing day-to-day HR operations, while driving strategic projects, performance improvement initiatives, and succession planning.

Key Responsibilities:
  • HR Operations Leadership
    • Oversee the execution of HR processes across multiple locations, ensuring smooth and efficient delivery.
    • Provide guidance and leadership to the HR team, ensuring consistent and high-quality service delivery.
    • Handle operational HR issues such as employee relations, policy enforcement, employee engagement, and legal compliance.
    • Ensure accurate management of HR data and records across global offices.
    • Act as a trusted advisor to senior management on all operational HR matters.
  • Strategic HR Leadership
    • Collaborate closely with senior leadership to drive strategic HR initiatives that align with The Legends Agency's growth and expansion goals.
    • Manage talent acquisition, performance management, and retention strategies in partnership with the Head of Talent Acquisition.
    • Lead the design and execution of performance improvement plans (PIPs) and initiatives that drive organizational performance and culture change.
    • Ensure successful implementation of HR projects, including organizational development, leadership development, and succession planning.
  • Employee Relations & Performance Management
    • Manage complex employee relations (ER) issues, providing guidance to managers and staff on conflict resolution and disciplinary actions.
    • Lead the design and implementation of performance management systems, ensuring alignment with company goals and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
    Requirements:
    • Essential Qualifications and Skills:
      • Experience: Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in HR, with at least 5 years in a senior or leadership role.
      • Proven experience in managing global HR operations, preferably in a regulated environment like healthcare or medical services.
      • Strong background in strategic HR management, including employee relations, talent development, succession planning, and performance improvement.
      • Demonstrated experience managing complex ER issues and leading performance management initiatives.
      • Familiarity with HR technology systems and data management tools.
    • Knowledge:
      • Strong understanding of global HR best practices, compliance, and employee laws.
      • Expertise in succession planning, leadership development, and talent management strategies.
    • Skills:
      • Exceptional leadership and people management skills, with a proven ability to inspire and motivate teams.
      • Strong business acumen and ability to partner effectively with senior leadership.
      • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across levels.
    Benefits:

The Legends Agency offers a competitive salary range of R1,200,000 - R1,800,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including medical aid, retirement fund, and life insurance.
