Job Title: Strategic Communications Expert - Corporate Affairs

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Communications Expert to join our Corporate Affairs team at Airports Company of South Africa Limited.

Company Overview:

As a leading airport operator, we strive to provide exceptional customer experiences while ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our airports. Our Corporate Affairs team plays a vital role in communicating our vision, values, and goals to our stakeholders.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing internal communications strategies that drive engagement, inform employees about company news, policies, and initiatives. You will work closely with senior managers, directors, and other stakeholders to create effective communication plans, ensure compliance with organizational standards, and maintain a positive corporate image.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute internal communications strategies aligned with corporate priorities and goals.
  • Manage all internal communication platforms, innovate, and introduce new and improved platforms.
  • Provide input into the integrated communications strategy, objectives, principles, and implementation plans.
  • Responsible for driving and sustaining messages, coordinating with Corporate Affairs Business Partners across the organization.
  • Create and establish platforms for improved engagement with stakeholders.
  • Deploy and embed brand within the organization, creating a culture that instills pride among employees.
  • Provide internal communications for projects impacting the organization, ensuring minimal business disruptions.
  • Develops communication materials using various tactics to articulate key messages.
  • Act as a single point of contact and custodian of corporate information, coordinating closely with Business.
  • Define feedback systems to manage evaluation of communications effectiveness.
  • Help create a best-in-class internal communications function that fuels employee engagement, influences connectivity, and culture.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or equivalent.
  • Postgraduate degree in Communications preferred.
  • 3-5 years' operational experience in Public Relations, Communications, or relevant experience.
  • Intermediate working knowledge of MS Office applications.
  • Knowledge of applicable legislation.

Estimated Salary: R600,000 - R800,000 per annum based on qualifications and experience.
