About the Role

Milkor Integrated Systems is seeking a skilled Spray Painter to join our team in the aerospace industry. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for preparing and painting aircraft parts, composite and mechanical surfaces to the highest standards of quality and finish.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare composite and mechanical surfaces for painting, ensuring a smooth and even finish.
  • Manage paint stock levels to prevent shortages and ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Understand and adhere to expiration dates for paints, hardeners, and thinners to maintain the highest quality standards.
  • Assist with composite work when paint projects are completed to stay busy and maintain a high level of productivity.
  • Maintain the spray booth's filters and perform regular servicing to ensure optimal performance.
  • Fill, sand, and profile any imperfections on molds or composite parts to achieve a flawless finish.
  • Sign off job cards to ensure accurate documentation and quality control.
Requirements
  • Grade 10 or higher qualification.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in spray painting.
  • Aviation Qualified Spray Painter professional license.
  • Sound knowledge of aviation paint standards.
Essential Skills

Spray painting proficiency and ability to understand and interpret engineering drawings.

Additional Information

This is a night shift position, and the successful candidate must be willing to work flexible hours to meet the needs of the team.
