Business Development and Growth Manager
Job Description:Role Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development and Growth Manager to join our team at NBCUniversal. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving business growth, expanding market presence, and identifying new opportunities for revenue generation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze market requirements, competitive landscape, and sales philosophy to develop effective go-to-market strategies.
- Build and develop relationships with customers, partners, and industry stakeholders to drive business growth and revenue expansion.
- Acquire advanced product knowledge and competitive awareness to conduct presentations and negotiations that differentiate our products and services.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including customer support, marketing, and product teams, to ensure customer success and achievement of business goals.
- Play a key role in contributing to and collaborating with senior management in the planning, rollout, and delivery of strategic sales initiatives.
- Exercising accountability, proactivity, and a strong work ethic in driving revenue growth across the region.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of professional experience in sales and/or account management in a SaaS environment.
- Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM.
- Own a car and hold a valid SA drivers license.
- Consultative selling approach.
- A proven track record of successful business development and acquiring new customers.
- A good understanding of the game of golf, its practices, and environment.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills demonstrated in both virtual and face-to-face client engagement settings.
- A self-starter with a results-oriented mindset and a proven track record of achieving targets and objectives.
- Collaborative and adaptable with experience of working in conjunction with multiple teams.
- Experience in analyzing, collecting, and presenting data to support proposals to current and potential clients.
- A proactive, positive attitude/approach.
- Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication.
- Willingness and ability to travel between Gauteng and KwaZulu-Natal as required to build relationships and drive business development.
