About the Position

Voltalia is a leading renewable energy company, and we are seeking a highly skilled EPC Project Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the preparation phase of EPC projects, including site team definition, documentation review, and procurement of equipment and subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the execution of utility-scale PV solar plants throughout their life cycle, ensuring timely completion, budget adherence, and high-quality results.
  • Develop and implement an execution and subcontracting strategy for projects, considering local communities, environmental standards, and Health & Safety regulations.
  • Lead project controls processes, including cost controls, contract management, and scheduling.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, external advisors, and stakeholders to achieve project goals.
  • Ensure effective communication of project progress and potential deviations to all stakeholders.
  • Direct interface with clients at project level and liaison with development and project finance teams.
  • Identify and mitigate potential project risks, with a proactive approach to 'No Surprises' project execution.

Requirements

Master's degree in Engineering (civil, electrical, mechanical, etc.).Minimum 8 years' experience in executing EPC projects of medium to large size.Minimum 4 years project management experience with medium and large size projects (preferably in the energy sector).Experience dealing with local utilities and proven track record of 2 projects connected to the grid is a plus.Master's degree in project management or PMP is a plus.Experience in Contract, Risk, and Procurement Management.Deep knowledge of Project controls (cost controls, contract management, and scheduling).Consolidated knowledge in planning software (Project, Primavera, etc.).Fluent in English, other languages would be a plus.
