Job Title: Purchasing Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Purchasing Manager to join our team at Recruitment Solutions. As a Purchasing Manager, you will be responsible for managing the purchasing function, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Procurement: Source and purchase goods and services from suppliers, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Inventory Management: Manage and maintain accurate inventory records, ensuring stock levels are optimized and costs are minimized.
  • Supplier Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring excellent service and competitive pricing.
  • Cost Control: Analyze and control costs, identifying opportunities for cost savings and implementing process improvements.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage a small team of purchasing staff, providing guidance and support to ensure successful delivery of purchasing objectives.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and present regular reports on purchasing performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Matric: Completed Matric certificate.
  • Financial Experience: Proven financial experience or relevant qualification.
  • Relevant Experience: 2-3 years relevant experience in purchasing or a related field.
  • Purchasing Experience: Proven purchasing experience, including procurement, inventory management, and supplier relationship management.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers and team members.
