Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Logistics Operations Director to join our team at HR Genie. As a key member of our management staff, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the full supply chain function, from procurement and logistics to warehousing and distribution.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management, particularly in a manufacturing environment, and will play a critical role in optimizing our company's supply chain strategy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supply Chain Optimization: Ensure that order levels are optimized and maintained according to our production plan, driving efficiency and cost-effectiveness throughout the supply chain.
  • Strategic Leadership: Support our Chief Operations Officer (COO) in executing our company's supply chain strategy, providing expert guidance and recommendations to drive business growth.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze supply chain data and performance, identifying areas for improvement and cost-effective solutions to enhance our operations.
  • Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records and generate reports for all supply chain activities, ensuring transparency and accountability throughout the process.
  • Supplier Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, logistics providers, and other stakeholders, fostering collaboration and mutual understanding.
  • Team Management: Lead and oversee all aspects of the supply chain, including sourcing, procurement, planning, and warehousing, while managing and coaching the supply chain team.
  • Performance Management: Oversee the performance management process for the team in line with our company procedures and policies, ensuring high standards of performance and behavior.
Requirements:
  • Supply Chain Expertise: Strong understanding of supply chain principles, processes, and best practices, with experience in a similar role within a manufacturing or factory setting.
  • Leadership Abilities: Proven leadership abilities, with experience in managing and developing a supply chain team, and excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office packages and supply chain management software (e.g., ERP systems), with experience in using tools to optimize supply chain performance.
  • Education: A bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field is required.
Compensation:

The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings, and paid time off.
