Key Account Business Developer

We are seeking a driven and ambitious Key Account Business Developer to join our team at Red Ember Recruitment (PTY) Ltd. As a Key Account Business Developer, you will be responsible for identifying and developing market opportunities to drive sales growth. This role requires strong sales acumen, the ability to build lasting relationships with clients, and a self-motivated individual who can work independently.
About the RoleIn this position, you will engage new prospects, recommend products to meet customer needs, and collaborate with account support to follow up on after-sales activities. You will also monitor market trends, competition, and customer needs within your designated area, actively search for new customers to expand the company's portfolio, and write detailed visit reports using our CRM tool.
Requirements- Tertiary qualification in a relevant field
- 3+ years of experience in a similar position, handling multiple projects with long sales cycles
- Basic understanding of international supply chains and freight processes
This is an excellent opportunity for a self-starter with discipline, ambition, and the ability to work independently. You will have the opportunity to earn a competitive salary of R250,000 - R300,000 per annum, depending on experience, and enjoy other benefits such as bonuses and career advancement opportunities.
