Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Laboratory Assistant to join our team at Fokus Personnel CC. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized laboratory environment, performing various laboratory tasks, and ensuring the smooth operation of our laboratory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • General Laboratory Maintenance: The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized laboratory environment, including cleaning, refilling of nitrogen flasks, and general maintenance of laboratory equipment.
  • Laboratory Tasks: The successful candidate will perform various laboratory tasks, including embryo flush, lapa programs, and all documentation involved.
  • Seed Sales and Sorting: The successful candidate will be responsible for frozen seed sales, sorting, seed thinning, and fertility tests.
  • Loading of Rams: The successful candidate will load rams as required.

Requirements:

  • Education: A suitable BSc degree in Genetics or Animal Production is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 year of suitable laboratory experience is required.
