Millwright Specialist

West Coast Personnel is seeking a skilled Millwright Specialist to join our team in Isando, Gauteng. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for analyzing faults, solving problems, and maintaining technical infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Technical Expertise: Develop and implement technical solutions to complex problems, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.
• Repairs: Conduct efficient and effective repairs of defective equipment, utilizing innovative techniques and following proper procedures.
• Maintenance: Plan and execute regular maintenance checks, ensuring optimal performance and minimizing downtime.
• Construction: Construct and install various structures within the factory, utilizing diverse materials and techniques.
• Management: Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, prioritize tasks, and strive for continuous improvement.
• Administration: Maintain accurate job logs, coordinate with external suppliers, and assist in stock management.
• Health & Safety: Ensure compliance with safety standards and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Food (Product) Safety: Adhere to food safety principles and standards, ensuring the highest quality products.
• Self-Development: Stay updated on innovations and technical advancements relevant to the role, enhancing your skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

• Secondary Education (Grade 12)
• Minimum N2 in millwright trade theory and trade tested
• 5 years'''' post-trade test experience
• Sound understanding of drawings, fault finding, and technical principles
• Proficiency in utilizing hand and power tools
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work decisively, ensuring safety and quality standards

• Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and night shifts as needed
