Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Account Manager to join our team at the South African Bureau of Standards. This role will be responsible for managing key accounts in the food and health sector, with a focus on building strong relationships and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Account Management: Develop and implement account management strategies to drive sales growth, improve customer satisfaction, and increase market share.
  • Relationship Building: Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and partners, to identify opportunities and drive business results.
  • Business Development: Identify new business opportunities and develop plans to pursue them, leveraging industry knowledge and expertise to drive growth.
  • Risk Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks associated with key accounts, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
Requirements
  • National Diploma / Diploma in Marketing, Sales, Business Administration or a related field (NQF Level 6)
  • 3 years relevant work experience within a relevant Key Account – Food & Health sector environment
  • Conformity assessment experience is advantageous
Competitive Salary Package

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary package, commensurate with their experience and qualifications. The estimated annual salary for this position is R1,200,000.
