Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Operations Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of financial transactions, accounts payable and receivable, and payroll processing.

The ideal candidate will have experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or a similar role, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations. Proficiency in accounting software and excellent organizational skills are essential for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all financial transactions.
  • Reconcile bank statements, accounts payable and receivable, and other financial statements on a regular basis.
  • Generate and send invoices, monitor outstanding payments, and follow up on overdue accounts.
  • Assist with payroll processing, ensuring timely and accurate employee compensation.
  • Monitor and categorize company expenses, ensuring that all receipts and documentation are appropriately filed and tracked.
  • Assist in preparing tax returns.
  • Enter financial data into accounting software ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and reports.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience: Proven experience as a bookkeeper, accounting assistant, or in a similar role.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations, proficient in accounting software, excellent organizational and time-management skills, attention to detail, high levels of accuracy, strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Certifications/Qualifications: Bookkeeping certifications or similar qualifications.
