Job Description:

As a key member of our team at The Building Company, the Stockroom Supervisor plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our stock management process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Stock Receipt and Management
    • Ensure accurate and efficient receipt of all trading stock delivered to our premises.
    • Verify delivery notes against order forms and maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Stock Location and Accessibility
    • Organize and locate stock efficiently within the warehouse.
    • Implement effective binning and display systems to facilitate easy stock retrieval.
  • Inventory Control
    • Monitor and report on damaged or defective stock.
    • Maintain accurate stock levels and undertake regular cycle counts.
  • Distribution and Dispatch
    • Process and dispatch stock as required by our customers.
    • Ensure timely and accurate labeling and documentation of stock movements.

Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per annum.

Requirements:

  • Grade 12 qualification.
  • At least one year of experience in a similar stockroom or distribution centre environment.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management software.
