About the Role

We are seeking experienced VIP Officers to join our dynamic team. As a VIP Officer, you will play a critical role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene at our branches, ensuring they remain clean and orderly at all times. This includes conducting perimeter patrols before opening hours, checking the premises for any suspicious activity, and being extremely vigilant during opening and closing procedures.

You will also be responsible for:

  • Conducting floor walks once the branch is open to ensure everything is in order
  • Validating observation checks before the branch manager or senior team leader continues with their daily tasks
  • Positioning yourself away from the entrance during opening and closing, observing your colleague and checking for potential danger
  • Patrolling inside and outside the branch entrance, back areas, and parking zones

Additionally, you will ensure all two-way radios are fully charged during shift changes, hand over equipment inspections, and charge batteries overnight so they are usable from the beginning of your shift. You must also keep panic buttons and two-way radios in good working condition and store them safely.

Key Responsibilities

As a VIP Officer, your key responsibilities include:

  • Directing traffic on our premises to ensure free flow and controlling vehicle entry and exit
  • Minimizing entry by sliding one door shut to secure the area and prevent high-risk situations
  • Attending branch meetings when notified by the Branch Manager or Senior Team Leader
  • Assisting with stock receiving, alarm testing, and submitting daily reports by 10:00 am
Guest Service Standards

We expect our VIP Officers to provide exceptional guest service by:

  • Greeting guests warmly with a smile and offering assistance
  • Addressing guest complaints proactively and communicating feedback clearly and positively
  • Creatings a guest-centric culture within the branch and promoting service with a smile
  • Treating guests with respect and maintaining a positive attitude
Compliance Requirements

To maintain compliance, you must:

  • Wear full Amadoda uniforms with name badges before starting your shift
  • Scan all persons entering the premises, including team members
  • Be observant of guests leaving the branch and identify if they entered with something that is now missing
  • Ensure no bags, weapons, or guns are allowed inside the premises (except for official law enforcement officers)
  • Prevent anyone under 18 from entering the premises
Code of Conduct

While on duty, you must not:

  • Sit or lounge
  • Use your cell phone
  • Eat
  • Smoke
  • Report for duty under the influence of alcohol
  • Abandon your post
  • Sleep on duty

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Grade C computer literacy
  • 1-2 years of security experience
  • Registration with PSIRA (Private Security Industry Regulatory Authority)
  • A valid driver's license (bonus)
