Job Overview

About the Role

This is a challenging opportunity for an experienced Regulatory Affairs Manager to take on a leadership role, leveraging their expertise to drive quality, time, and cost standards across product development, commercialization, and maintenance lifecycle.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the Regulatory Affairs team to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, develop and implement strategies to maintain and enhance regulatory submissions
  • Manage projects effectively, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality deliverables
  • Maintain and improve existing systems and processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business objectives, foster open communication, and promote a culture of excellence
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or equivalent qualification, registered with the South African Pharmacy Council
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in Regulatory Affairs, preferably in human medicines, with a strong track record of delivering results under pressure
  • Proven project management skills, with experience in using CTD software builders and eCTD applications
  • Demonstrable experience in managing personnel resources, leading by example, and promoting a positive work environment
  • Excellent IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new technologies quickly
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make informed decisions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to negotiate and network effectively
Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of R750,000 - R1,200,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits, including medical aid, retirement funding, and performance bonuses.
