Job Description

  • Provide effective customer service to internal and external customers via phone or written correspondence.
  • Capture all relevant data during calls or service interventions efficiently and accurately.
  • Adhere to all business policies, procedures, and processes.
  • Resolve customer queries within agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Liaise and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Offer a solution-based approach to customer interactions tailored to individual member needs.
  • Communicate professionally to achieve the best outcome for the business and members.

We are looking for someone who can work cross-functionally with other department leaders to ensure business objectives are met and outcomes are delivered. You will handle member queries and complaints efficiently and effectively, ensuring all dealings align with company culture and values.

What We Need From You

We require:

  • Martic qualification or equivalent qualification.
  • Up to 3 years of experience in a contact centre in an agent or similar role.
  • The ability to converse, read, and understand English fluently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Resilience to handle customer rejection.
  • The ability to multitask and switch between multiple systems.

  • Empathy and the ability to build rapport.
  • Quality as your key focus in delivering results.
  • Excellent influencing skills.
  • The ability to manage objections and close calls.
  • Independence and the ability to follow set procedures.
  • A proactive approach to continuously improve processes.

We estimate the salary for this role to be around R250,000 - R300,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
